We tend to percieve the digital images we see and interact with as a whole. However this is a coherent process of tiny lights mixing colours. By defragmenting the screen to seperated pixels, our perceptions shifts from image to medium.
Modular Pixels is an installation that is flexible and expandable. It consists of an amount of light emitting cubes which are connected with eachother.
The pixels show the image of a live camera input, if stacked in the right order it will actually show the image as a normal display.
The installation can be extended as far as possible creating any kind of video resolution.
